- Bama Bread Entertainment has been in existence since 2007 but became a company in 2010. In July 2007 Bama Bread participated in the Black Arts Festival in Huntsville Alabama. While in attendance Bama Bread sold 2,500 albums, making their presence known. Again in October 2007 Bama Bread sold 1,000 albums at the Labor Day Classic, creating a local buzz. The first album to be released under Bama Bread Entertainment was Bama Bread the album and Show N’ Skillz the mixtape. These two releases sold 3,500 copies. In June 2008, Bama Bread Entertainment released Capp Cassanova’s Bread Basket. In just 6 months after being established, Bama Bread was nominated for Indy Record Label of the Year by the Southern Entertainment Awards. In 2011 Bama Bread plans to leave its mark by creating a mixtape madness, dropping 52 mixtapes for the year.
