These biological brothers are comfortable making music together, moving around the stage, or matching lyrics to beats in the studio because they are real blood brothers, and have known each other from the sandbox to the sound booth. Glad to combine the mid-south sound with mid-west reality, JackNCrown are moving music to more than entertainment, always remembering the aesthetic qualities and technical aspects that make up the total sound

JackNCrown’s musical influences cover several decades and combine the best music breakers of the 20th century into the 21st century amalgam of relevant lyrics and jazz riffs with hip-hop truth and credibility.

Jack (Adrian) and Crown (Nicholas) claim musical influences that range from jazz great Thelonius Monk to the lyric Beatles and solitary bass beats of Iron Butterfly to the melodious improvisation of Prince, the social commentary of Bob Marley, Talib Kwali’s and mos def’s lyric labyrinths. The music playing in the mental repertoire of JackNCrown combines with their respect for current music and comes out in a strong vocal sound with equally strong beats and rhythms.

Motivated most by everyday people, the subjects in their songs reflect strength in the struggle of life and love. JackNCrown bring music to life and life to music, or as they say, “We make good music for good musicians to make more good music.”
