About Me:: As a child I've always dreamed about being a performer/writer and I will never let that dream drift off. My mom use to hear me singing in the shower like I was performing in front of an audience or something. She would always say, " One day I will see you on T.V. performing away." At the time I use to think, yea whatever mom lol.

In 1995 I joined AS CAP writers Group and started performing and placing songs for sale there. It was a whole lot of fun at the time, just starting out, doing my thang.

On Oct 3 1995 I received a call from AS CAP stating that someone wants to use my lyrics for their future album, so I rushed there to see who it was that wanted to buy my music and it was Aalayah Haughton. I was so stunned at the time to think that someone wanted to buy mu songs, but one song caught her attention, and it was "Age Ain't Nothing But A Number". I was like are you serious you was this song because I don't think it would sell. She was sure she wanted to use this track so Aalayah and R Kelly bought my song and from there things took off. i started later working more with Aalayah's fashion etc, then in 1998 I started getting loads and loads of responces from other artists wanting to buy my album but I refused, because I wanted to keep all my songs to Aalayah at the time. So most of my time was writing songs for her and that was it......I made lot's of money at the time off this.

On Aug 26 2001 I was on my way to help with the shoot video "More Than A Woman" but I was approaching the Airport at the time to come meet up with Aalayah. As I was leaving out the door my friend told me to come see something on the news, so I came into the living room to see and they stated Aalayah's Plane had crash, the same one I was going to get on..........So from that point on I didn't talk for a year. I've stopped doing music and just went into my own little world........

But now 2008 I feel That Aalayah wanted me to keep going no matter what so I going to keep it going.........To all my Fans I love U all and all I ask is you to stay by my side and help me get even stronger.

finally a place where i can share my story and reveal the real me.. I've always been scared to tell other people how i really feel.. maybe it's because I'm afraid to disappoint them or maybe it;s just because i don't trust them enough to show them who i really am I'm sure there are lots of people who can relate with me.. the people who think know a lot about me are the ones who really don't know me at all.. i am discreet most of the times and sometimes i get misunderstood because of it.. the most important event in my life was when i became a born again Christian.. i experienced a lot of persecutions and rejections because of it but i never regretted it.. sometimes it's hard but I've never been this secure in my entire life.. a lot of people don't believe in GOD and it's just so sad because they are missing the most important thing in their life.. sometimes i feel pressured because great things are expected from me.. but I'm not losing hope.. no matter what happens i will try my best to be the person GOD wants me to be..
