To Set The Record Straight

In today’s times we all are on war mode, because
the way lil Bush did the country. “Trust no one is our motto!” We must be
careful how we approach and speak to one another. Some words that make some men smile will make some men upset. And that’s not your fault, our up bringing or the things we’ve been thru in life taught us to be this way. How do we get past this to where we become human again? Maybe those days has gone and pass, and may never return. I know a lot of people on myspace think that I personally may not be the one to speak on this. But I’m not known to take the back seat to no one. I feel that as long as we respect each others art we cool, But these superstar attitudes is what’s killin the Hip Hop scene in MN. Every artist here feels like they are the top sperm, but no in MN has signed to a major. We are not even close to being on the map for hop hip, yes; we are for patrons, but not as artists. How many of us have features on our projects froma major or an ex-major? How far up the billboard charts did it go, I know some of ya’ll may feel like I’m talking trash. But the truth is the truth. Check 106 & Park count down, how bout MTV or VH1, neither you nor I are
constantly charting. We need to work together to make things happen for the MN hip hop scene ourselves. Yeah I know you may be saying to yourself, who is this dude to say this. All I can say is Prince said it first: ....Minnesota.... people don’t love Minnesota Artists! It took N.E.X.T. to go some where else to be accepted by ....Minnesota.... and these dudes was right in our back yards. Then folks are mad cuz they didn’t come back and put them on. Would you? You don’t have to work with me personally cuz there is plenty that will, but you should consider some of the other talent that ....Minnesota.... has to offer
