Ok so Tiger Woods cheated on his wife…. right……

Tiger Woods is bi-racial and has made it very clear in the past that he chooses not to identify with one race or the other …right…..

Tiger Woods is a public figure who has made millions off of his image….right….

So…why when this MAN commits adultery does he then become a BLACK MAN?

All over Facebook, Twitter, and in regular conversation people are saying
“ha ha Tiger, you a Nigga now! ” or "Yup, Tiger is black now"…………I fail to see the humor in this,,,,,,

Do we not have enough images associated with the African American race to belittle us? Do the words BLACKmail, BLACKsheep, BLACKball not mean anything to us? (the only good reference would be Black Friday)

Tiger is a MAN first… human…of the flesh….the flesh proved weak and he committed adultery…..so what part of his RACE made him step out on his wife?
These little side jokes reinforce what too many of us have been fed to believe…”There are NO good black men”….

Now maybe I am misguided and in a fairytale land looking for Unicorns but I know there are good men around, and yes some are black…wow… shocking?….it shouldn’t be….

Imagine if all the images we are fed about Black men were what we were taught about Hawaiian men………they would be the new BLACK. Do not let the media dictate how you view your race.

Be careful in holding a celebrity to a higher moral standard..., they are people too. Let us be more concerned with our communities, our government, and our healthcare.

Do you know how many soldiers have died in Iraq or Afghanistan in the last month?
Can you name three of your neighbor’s name?....sadly enough I cannot either….

Time for some changes…in all of us….and not because I am black…but a responsible adult…
